– A Tourist SIM line is valid for 30 days only.
– Calls within Tourist numbers are free until the plan expiry.
– Free data, minutes and SMS included are for local use only (no roaming).
– Free minutes and SMS included in the pack are valid for local and international destinations (click here to view the destinations).
– 5% VAT applies on plans with SIM activations.
– The Tourist SIM can be sold to all visitors and business travellers.
– The Tourist SIM will not be sold to Omani nationals or Omani resident cardholders.
– For other nationalities, an original passport is required for verification.
– For GCC Nationals, an original ID or passport are required for verification.

eSIM stands for embedded sim. Devices with an embedded SIM have a SIM card inside that can’t be removed. Some hybrid devices or dual-SIM devices can have one eSIM and one physical SIM.
How do I activate an eSIM?
Instead of putting a physical SIM in your device like usual, you will need to download one. After requesting an eSIM, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to set it up. The process of downloading and setting up an eSIM will vary depending on the device you have. Make sure to read the instructions carefully.
Why would I choose an eSIM over a physical SIM?
You may want an eSIM if you have multiple lines with us and want to use them all on one device. Or you may want to switch your existing physical SIM to an eSIM. Lastly, you may want to get a local eSIM while travelling temporarily.
